I am assuming this is it because all the other modifiers are unchanged between station and Citadel. I just went to a station and compared the two outputs and they are 100% the same. So my Citadel currently with T1 rigs are just as effective as an NPC station.
Do the math yourself -- there seems to be a small issue with the 'yield' calculation in the reprocessing currently, and it is not accurate and therefore should NOT be trusted.
This being said.. I personally have achieved 78% yield in highsec on normal ore (not ice though)
1: Make sure all skills for refining are at level V 2: Make sure you have the best reprocessing implant (+4%) 3: Use ONLY ONE RIG on the citadel for reprocessing.. I believe if you use more than one, it negates both effects and you get the base of 50% refine) Depending on what ice you are mining, you will want EITHER ONE of the following two rigs: Standup M-Set I1 Materials Reclamation Standup M-Set I2 Materials Reclamation
l1 covers: Clear Icicle, Enriched Clear Icicle, White Glaze, Pristine White Glaze, Glare Crust, Gelidus, Dark Glitter, and Krystallos l2 covers: Blue Ice, Thick Blue Ice, Glacial Mass, Smooth Glacial Mass, Glare Crust, Gelidus, Dark Glitter, and Krystallos
4: Fit the T2 rigs (around 1-2 billion for a medium I believe) to increase your yield a further +2%
How to do the calculations? (just incase you're not sure)
(amount of reprocessed materials)/(amount of materials if refined at 100%) * 100 = yield in percent
A worked example using ore: (note: 100 Veldspar gives 415 Tritanium at 100% refine) My yield on my citadel gives 324 tritanium therefore: (324/415)*100 = 78.0723%
A worked example using ice: (note: 1 block of blue ice gives 414 Oxygen Isotopes at 100% refine) My yield on my citadel gives 322 Oxygen Isotopes therefore: (322/414)*100 = 77.7778%
Do note the following aspects: The more you refine as a batch -- the more materials you will get from the refine Also when you are doing calculations, with ice and other ores, you will get many different products from refining. For a more accurate percentage of your yield, you should ALWAYS choose the material with the highest abunance. That is why I used Oxygen Isotopes in the above example.
I hope this helps, please let me know if there are any more questions or problems I can help you with |
